The idea of the game is to make it back to the safety of the gruffalo cave, but beware, there is a Big Bad Mouse lurking in these woods who enjoys nothing more than a slice of Gruffalo pie! Spin the spinner and turn over the top card from the centre of the board that matches the colour on the spinner. If the card selected has footprints on it, move your Gruffalo's Child playing piece forward. The card may have 1, 2 or 3 footprints. This game has strong educational components and helps children learn through social interaction as well as taking turns and co-operation, all whilst having great fun.
